About Us

  • Mission Statement: Creating awareness beyond our common cultural community in an effort to unify people and transcend barriers (through social and political issues, activism, the arts, and youth subculture).
  • Why the name “Incite”? When choosing our name, we, the founders, wanted to describe how we felt we approached the world. As college students who cared about issues that affect us and others, when we came across the word “Incite” and what it meant, it was a perfect fit. The definition of incite is: to inspire, aggravate, or change an individual or a group into taking some action or to expressing some feeling about something about which they are passionate. Far too often, our generation is described as one that is both impassionate and apathetic. Our generation does have fire in its eyes. We do care about our world. Events, issues, and activities that our articles describe prove that we do. Sometimes we just need a little inspiration; something to incite us to ignite the embers in our bellies.
